The objective was to create a nice look and feel for the web self-service portal home page that would generic enough for most customers to use along with their current site yet be fully customizable. The previous look and feel was very plain looking, reason being that customers will always customize it to blend in with their own website look and feel.
Using gradations images and some icons for the home and search page only. The rest of the application did not use the background gradations but it did use the same header image and tabs through out.
I was also instrumental in numerous user interactions on this screen and all adjacent screens. I also created extensive documentation on how to best customize the css and images for entire application.
